Installation & Setup Guide

Step 1: Download & Install the Plugin

New User? Create an account to get your API Token and receive 20 free credits to try the service!
  1. First, download the plugin ZIP file and extract it to get the .lrplugin folder. On macOS, your browser may extract it automatically.
  2. In Lightroom Classic, go to File > Plug-in Manager...
  3. In the Plug-in Manager window, click the "Add" button on the bottom-left.
  4. Navigate to and select the plugin folder.

Step 2: Authenticate with your API Token

Once the plugin is added, you need to connect it to your PhotoKeyworder.ai account.

  1. Select the "PhotoKeyworder.ai Plug-in" from the list on the left side of the Plug-in Manager.
  2. Paste your API Token into the "API Token" field. You can find it on your account page, or click the "Get API Token" button inside the plugin to open it directly.
  3. Click "Done". The plugin is now installed and ready!

Step 3: Generate Metadata

  1. In the Library module, select one or more photos you want to keyword.
  2. Go to File > Plug-in Extras > Generate Tags for Selected Images.
  3. The PhotoKeyworder.ai dialog will appear. Choose your desired AI settings, then click "Tag selected Images".
  4. The plugin will process your photos and automatically fill in the Title, Description/Caption, and Keywords fields in your Lightroom catalog. It's that simple!
